NEPSE Sees Marginal Increase; Total Transaction Exceeds 11 Billion



Kathmandu – On the second day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a marginal increase. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index rose by 2.41 points, closing at 2,730 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 7 sub-groups showing an increase, while the sub-indices of 6 sub-groups showed a decrease.

As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 353 million, 75 thousand, and 16 rupees.

In today’s trading, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited were the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Green Development Bank Limited and River Falls Power Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 319 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 23 million, 770 thousand, and 348 shares, generating a total transaction value of 11 billion, 875 million, 967 thousand, and 538 rupees.
