NEPSE Declines by 15 Points; Total Transaction Exceeds 6 Billion



Kathmandu – On the second day of trading this week, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index decreased by 15.54 points, closing at 2,594.13 points.

In today’s transaction, a total of 13 sub-groups participated. The sub-indices of all 13 sub-groups showed a decline.

As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction of 452 million, 551 thousand, and 675 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the share price of the company increasing by 10 percent and hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Sindhu Bikash Bank Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent and hitting the negative circuit.

In today’s transaction, a total of 322 companies participated. The total number of traded shares was 13 million, 870 thousand, and 579 shares, generating a total transaction value of 6 billion, 650 million, 883 thousand, and 103 rupees.
