Jhabindra Lal Upadhyaya as the new Chairman of Nepal Digital Payments Company



Kathmandu. Jhabindra Lal Upadhyaya has been appointed as the new Chairman of Nepal Digital Payments Company Limited (NDPC) with unanimous decision of the 63rd board meeting held on 24th Falgun, 2080.

Upadhyaya took oath from Dr. Gunakar Bhatta, Executive Director of Payment System Department of Nepal Rastra Bank, in the oath-taking ceremony held on 30th Falgun, 2080.

After the oath taking ceremony, Chairman Mr. Upadhyaya expressed his delight and said, “I am excited about the potential impact of our initiatives on fostering financial inclusion and economic empowerment”.

Upadhyaya added, a seamless integration, top-notch security, and user-friendly interface with unique features like USSD (offline) mode, the company aims to revolutionize the way people send and receive payments ensuring convenient, secure, and accessible payment solutions for all.
