MAW Earthmovers marks “JCB Shubharambha” across 12 branches nationwide**

Kathmandu, October 11—

MAW Earthmovers, the authorised dealer of JCB in Nepal, handed over more than 27 JCB machines to customers across 12 branches nationwide on Ghatasthapana, the first day of Dashain. The handovers were organised under a special programme titled “JCB Shubharambha,” marking an auspicious new beginning.

The handover ceremonies were conducted in keeping with Ghatasthapana traditions. Each machine was formally worshipped, with tika and garlands offered before the keys were handed over to customers in the presence of their family members and the MAW Earthmovers team. The ceremonies concluded with cake cutting and the distribution of sweets, after which customers drove their new machines out of the branch premises.

The machines handed over included JCB 3DX Backhoe Loaders, excavators, AgriMax and other models.

Speaking at the event, Durga Prasad Niroula, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MAW Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd., said, “Ghatasthapana is the day Nepalis begin good things. For us, this is not just a machine handover—it is a new beginning for more than 27 families and businesses. We are grateful to every customer for their trust.”

The newly delivered machines will be deployed across various districts in infrastructure development, road construction, agriculture and other sectors contributing to Nepal’s economic growth.
