ICRA Nepal has reaffirmed Buddha Air’s credit ratings, maintaining an A1 rating for the airline’s short-term loan limits and an LA rating for its long-term loan limits.
Announcing the development through its official social media platforms, Buddha Air said the reaffirmation reflects the airline’s continued commitment to flight safety, operational excellence, sound corporate governance, and the trust it has earned from passengers over the years.
The airline stated that retaining the ratings was made possible by the dedication of its employees and the confidence that customers place in its services every day.
According to Buddha Air, the credit assessment was conducted by ICRA Nepal Limited in accordance with the credit rating requirements prescribed by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).
ICRA Nepal is Nepal’s first credit rating agency and a subsidiary of ICRA Limited, India. The agency evaluates the creditworthiness of companies and their financial obligations, helping lenders, investors, and other stakeholders assess financial risk.
