Nepal’s Hajur AI Launches ThikThak, First Local Social Media Rewarding Creators Rs. 25,000 Monthly

Kathmandu. Nepal’s digital landscape is set for a significant shift with the public launch announcement of Hajur AI, an all-in-one digital platform developed by Nepali creators for Nepali users. The company has confirmed that the app will officially go live on March 1, 2026.

Positioned as the country’s first comprehensive digital companion, Hajur AI aims to integrate multiple everyday online services into a single application. The platform combines social networking, artificial intelligence assistance, language learning, meditation tools, entertainment and calendar services under one interface.

A major highlight of the launch is ‘ThikThak,’ described as Nepal’s first homegrown social media feed. The feature introduces a reward-based content system where every post earns a ‘ThikThak Score.’ According to the company, the top 100 scorers each month will receive cash prizes, with the highest-ranking creator awarded Rs. 25,000 monthly.

In addition to ThikThak, the app includes a Nepali-speaking AI assistant branded as ‘Ke Chha Hajur?’, an interactive language-learning module that offers a monthly prize of Rs. 15,000 to top performers, and ‘Pranayam’ a guided meditation and breathing feature delivered entirely in Nepali. The platform also integrates news updates, music streaming, live radio, Nepali movies and television content, as well as a complete Bikram Sambat calendar with daily panchang.

To mark the launch, the company has announced that all users will receive complimentary premium access until July 1, 2026. Interested users will be able to create an account and access the platform starting March 1 through the official website.

With its reward-based social media model and integrated digital services, Hajur AI is positioning itself as a locally built alternative in Nepal’s growing digital ecosystem.
