Kathmandu, November 5-
TikTok has introduced a comprehensive suite of new features designed to make its platform safer, more supportive, and empowering for creators worldwide.
These updates reaffirm TikTok’s commitment to providing creators with advanced safety and productivity tools that allow them to focus on creating content, connecting with audiences, and maintaining greater control over their online experience.
At the forefront of these innovations is Creator Care Mode, a new feature designed to give creators peace of mind when managing their comments sections. Once activated, Creator Care Mode automatically hides comments that are abusive, harassing, or obscene—especially those similar to ones previously reported or deleted by the creator.
Powered by intelligent machine learning, the feature continuously adapts to each creator’s preferences, ensuring a safer and more positive environment for community interaction.
For those who regularly host live streams, TikTok has introduced an enhanced Live Muting Tool, offering greater control over in-stream interactions. With this upgrade, hosts and their moderators can block or mute users who use inappropriate words, phrases, or emojis in the chat.
When a keyword or emoji is entered into the tool, any comments containing it will automatically be hidden, and repeat offenders can be muted for a customizable duration. Available globally, the Live Muting Tool also includes a bulk mute feature to help maintain respectful and engaging real-time conversations.
TikTok has also launched Content Check Lite, available exclusively through TikTok Studio on the web. This tool helps creators identify potential issues that might limit the reach of their videos—such as content that may not appear on the “For You” page—before publishing. By flagging potential concerns early, creators can make adjustments to align their videos with TikTok’s Community Guidelines while maintaining creative freedom.
Additionally, the platform now offers a Creator Inbox, a professional messaging hub designed to streamline communication between creators and their audiences. The Inbox includes quick-response templates and separate folders for unread and starred messages, making it easier for creators to stay connected and respond efficiently to their fans.
Together, these tools demonstrate TikTok’s ongoing investment in creator wellbeing and digital safety. The platform encourages all creators to explore and utilize these features to foster a positive, productive, and protected creative experience.
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Its mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. TikTok’s global headquarters are located in Los Angeles and Singapore, with offices in New York, London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo.
