Gold Price Hits Record High: Increases by Rs 3,000 Per Tola on Sunday

Kathmandu — Gold prices in Nepal have surged to an all-time high, with hallmark gold trading at Rs 203,600 per tola on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold increased by Rs 3,000 per tola compared to Friday’s rate of Rs 200,600 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also seen an upward trend, rising by Rs 65 per tola to reach Rs 2,425 per tola.

Market analysts attribute this significant price hike to rising international gold rates, increased demand, and fluctuations in the U.S. dollar exchange rate.
