The price of gold and silver witnessed a notable increase on Sunday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
The price of hallmark gold rose by NPR 2,300 per tola, reaching NPR 197,500 compared to Friday’s price of NPR 195,200 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also climbed, increasing by NPR 40 per tola, bringing the rate to NPR 2,350 per tola.
The federation attributed the rise to fluctuations in the international bullion market, which continue to influence domestic pricing trends.
