Kathmandu- On the third trading day of the week, the stock market witnessed notable growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index increased by 30.76 points, closing at 3,002.07 points.
Out of the 13 sub-indices, 10 recorded gains, while 3 registered declines.
As per Tuesday’s transaction data, Himalayan Distillery Limited led the turnover chart with a total transaction value of NRs 644 million 138 thousand 275.
In today’s trading, Muktinath Krishi Company Limited, Trade Tower Limited, and Sanvi Energy Limited emerged as the top gainers. The share prices of these companies surged by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser, with its share price falling by 8.60 percent.
A total of 321 companies participated in today’s trading. The total number of traded shares stood at 41 million 808 thousand 966, generating a transaction value of NRs 18 Billion 529 million 322 thousand 885.
