Kathmandu– On the second day of trading, the stock market experienced a marginal growth in its index. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE has grown by 4.78 points, settling at 2,600.76 points.
Out of 13 sub-indices, 7 sub-indices recorded an increase, while 6 sub-indices declined.
As per Wednesday’s trading, Radhi Bidyut Company Limited led the market with a total transaction of NRs 521 million 859 thousand 866.
In today’s trading, Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the company’s share price increasing by 9.98 percent, hitting the positive circuit.
Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 325 companies participated in today’s trading. The total number of traded shares was 17 million 587 thousand 36, generating a transaction value of NRs 6 billion 471 million 952 thousand 678.
