RSP Lawmaker Nepali Alleges Government’s Alliance with Crime Syndicate

Kathmandu– Lawmaker Shiva Nepali of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) alleged that a human trafficking network operating under the cover of visit visas is being run from within the country in alliance with state protectors.

Speaking during the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, Nepali accused the government of protecting the active human trafficking racket. He criticized the government’s continued silence on such a serious crime and questioned in the House, “Is it a crime to raise the issues of the people?” He further remarked that human trafficking is not only a criminal offense but also a grave disrespect to humanity. He demanded the formation of an investigation committee.

“Honorable Speaker, is it a crime to raise the issues of the people? Governments change, ministers change, but why do human traffickers remain unpunished? Serious and international crimes such as human trafficking have been exposed in a severe manner today. Human trafficking in the name of visit visas is not just a crime but a huge disrespect to all humanity,” he added.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party has been protesting in the House, demanding an investigation into the Visit Visa Scandal since 13th Jestha.
