Kathmandu- On the last day of trading, the stock market witnessed a decline in its index. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index dropped by 24.76 points, settling at 2,628.91 points.
All 13 sub-indices recorded a decline.
As per Thursday’s trading, Ngadi Group Power Limited led the market with a total transaction of NRs 854 million 456 thousand 675.
In today’s transaction, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the company’s share price increasing by 9.98 percent, hitting the positive circuit.
Meanwhile, Pure Energy Limited and Rasuwagadi Hydropower Company Limited were the top losers, with their share prices falling by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 314 companies participated in today’s trading. The total number of traded shares was 29 million 415 thousand 407, generating a total transaction value of NRs 11 billion 231 million 489 thousand 964.
