NEPSE Declines by 9 Points; Ngadi Group Power Limited Leads Turnover



Kathmandu– On the last day of trading, the stock market experienced a decline in its index. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index dropped by 9.08 points, settling at 2,655.38 points.

Out of the total 13 sub-indices, 9 sub-indices have dropped while 4 sub-indices have gone up.

As per Thursday’s transaction, Ngadi Group Power Limited led the market with a total transaction of NRs 1 billion 81 million 488 thousand 919.

In today’s trading, Pure Energy Limited emerged as the top gainer. The share price of the company increased by 9.99 percent, hitting a positive circuit.

Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser, with the share price of the company decreasing by 9.90 percent, hitting a negative circuit.

A total of 311 companies participated in today’s trading. The total number of traded shares was 28 million 607 thousand 685, generating a transaction value of NRs 12 billion 515 million 308 thousand 961.
