Kathmandu– On the second trading day of the week, the stock market experienced a decline. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index fell by 35.73 points, closing at 2,658.93 points.
In today’s transaction, the sub-index of all sub-groups decreased.
As per Tuesday’s transaction, Radhi Bidyut Company Limited led the market with a total turnover of 601 million 502 thousand 486 rupees.
Pure Energy Limited and Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited were the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent and 9.94 percent respectively, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited was the top loser, with its share price falling by 4.38 percent.
A total of 315 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 15 million 538 thousand 474, generating a total turnover of 6 billion 679 million 561 thousand 324 rupees.
