Kathmandu– Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the current federal democratic republic system of governance which allows to choose its own leader is the only suitable and acceptable for the country.
Address the event organized on the occasion of Republic Day 2082, Prime Minister Oli said that there no other alternative than the Republic governing system that guarantees the dignity of each citizen.
Highlighting the incomparable achievements and changes brought by the Republic governing system in education, health, industry and employment sector, urged to unite together to make the Republic governing system more strong and sturdy.
He said, “Good governance, transparency and accountability are the backbone of the Republic governing system, we are working to make these stronger. We are working to fulfill national aspiration, Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali.”
Prime Minister Oli clarified that there is currently a system in place to elect at least 36,057 representatives from different castes/ethnicities and communities, from ward members to the country’s president, through vote.
