NEPSE rises, Ngadi Group leads the turnover



Kathmandu – On the fourth day of the trading week, the stock market experienced an increase. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index rose by 17.44 points, closing at 2,693.06 points.

In today’s trading, the sub-indices of 9 sub-groups increased, while the sub-indices of 4 sub-groups declined.

As per Wednesday’s transaction, Ngadi Group Power Limited led the market with a total turnover of 1 billion 57 million 360 thousand and 2 rupees.

In today’s session, Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited, Pure Energy Limited, and Green Development Bank Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, 9.99 percent, and 9.85 percent respectively, each hitting the positive circuit.

Meanwhile, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited was the day’s top loser.

A total of 323 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 20 million 759 thousand 547, generating a total turnover of 8 billion 586 million 4 thousand 334 rupees.
