Kathmandu – The stock market saw a bullish trend on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the benchmark NEPSE index rose by 49.09 points, reaching 2,677.47 points.
All 13 sub-indices traded on NEPSE closed in positive territory today.
Radhi Bidyut Company recorded the highest turnover of the day, with transactions worth over NPR 418 million.
On Tuesday, five companies hit the positive circuit breaker, meaning their share prices surged to the maximum limit allowed for a single trading day.
The top gainers were:
Sindhu Development Bank (+10%)
Saptakoshi Development Bank (+10%)
Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals (+9.99%)
Green Development Bank (+9.97%)
Rapti Hydro and General Construction Ltd. (+9.97%)
Investors in these companies earned the highest profits for the day.
In contrast, Vin Nepal Laghubitta saw the biggest loss, with its share price falling by 3.09%.
According to NEPSE, over 16.88 million shares of 310 companies were traded today, resulting in a total transaction amount exceeding NPR 7.31 billion.
