Kathmandu. In a significant move to bridge the gap between academia and industry in Nepal’s growing ICT sector, SAIM College (South Asian Institute of Management) and Tokma Technologies Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing skill development, innovation and research.
The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Ashok Raj Pandey, Principal of SAIM College and Mr. Sagar Angedmbe, Director of Tokma Technologies. Mr. Sumanta Gurung, Program Director at SAIM College, witnessed the signing ceremony held in Lalitpur.
This strategic partnership focuses on preparing students for real-world challenges through initiatives such as industry-relevant internships, joint research projects, curriculum development, expert-led workshops, hackathons and innovation challenges. The collaboration aims to foster an ecosystem where students can gain hands-on experience while contributing to technological advancement in Nepal.
