NEPSE Index Falls by 3.44 Points; NRN Infrastructure Leads in Turnover



Kathmandu — On the third trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index saw a slight decline. According to NEPSE, the index dropped by 3.44 points to close at 2,666.61.

Out of the 13 sub-indices traded today, 4 witnessed gains while 9 declined.

The highest turnover was recorded by NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited, with transactions totaling over NPR 591.4 million.

Investors in Bottlers Nepal (Balaju), Win Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, and Nepal Micro Insurance saw the highest gains. The share prices of these companies surged by 10%, 10%, and 9.99% respectively, hitting the positive circuit limit.

On the downside, Barahi Hydropower saw the biggest loss of the day, with its share price falling by 6.72%.

According to NEPSE, a total of 106.43 million shares of 321 companies were traded today, amounting to a total turnover of over NPR 5.30 billion.
