NEPSE Increases by 32 Points, Total Transaction Exceeds 7 Billion



Kathmandu – On the first day of the week, the stock market experienced an increase. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index rose by 32.24 points, closing at 2,695.55 points.

In today’s transaction, 13 sub-groups participated, and the sub-indices of all sub-groups, except one, showed an increase.

As per Sunday’s transaction, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited led the market with a total transaction of 691 million 977 thousand 411 rupees.

In today’s session, Joshi Hydropower Development Company Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the company’s share price increasing by 9.94 percent, hitting a positive circuit. Meanwhile, Prabhu Smart Fund was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 5.79 percent.

A total of 323 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 15 million 572 thousand 862, generating a total transaction value of 7 billion 568 million 226 thousand 197 rupees.
