Kathmandu. On Thursday, the stock market index NEPSE increased by 41.43 points, reaching 2,663.30 points.
The banking sector rose by 12 points, development banks by 60, finance by 32, hotels and tourism by 28, hydropower by 37, life insurance by 226, non-life insurance by 104, microfinance by 106, manufacturing by 65, trade by 247, and other subgroups by 41 points.
Today, the share of Gurans Microfinance increased by 10%. Although the market as a whole went up, the shares of Kumar Sabal Yojana and Upkar Microfinance decreased by 1.5%.
On this day, 97 million shares of 309 companies were traded for a total of 5.22 billion rupees.
