Kathmandu – On the second day of the week, the stock market experienced an increase. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index rose by 26.10 points, closing at 2,640.78 points.
In today’s transaction, 13 sub-groups participated, and the sub-indices of all the sub-groups showed an increase.
As per Monday’s transaction, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited led the market with a total transaction of 326 million 977 thousand 578 rupees.
In today’s session, Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited emerged as the top gainer, with the company’s share price increasing by 9.51 percent. Meanwhile, Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 4.26 percent.
A total of 326 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 9 million 739 thousand 738, generating a total transaction value of 4 billion 483 million 599 thousand 4 rupees.
