Kathmandu – An agreement has been signed between the Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN) and the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) to strengthen cooperation in Nepal’s physical infrastructure sector.
The agreement was signed by FCAN President Rabi Singh and CHINCA President Fang Qiuchen, representing their respective organizations.
President Singh stated that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Nepal and China aims to attract Chinese investment in Nepal’s physical infrastructure sector through collaboration. He said, “Collaboration between the two countries will take place to attract Chinese investment in Nepal’s physical infrastructure sector. We will also work with Chinese construction companies to enhance the skills of Nepali youth in construction work, helping them gain international recognition.”
Similarly, CHINCA President Fang Qiuchen noted that the MoU has paved the way for enhanced cooperation between the two countries. He further stated that the agreement provides opportunities for companies from both nations to work together and establish stronger business connections.
