House of Representatives Passes Financial Procedures and Financial Responsibility Bill with Majority

Kathmandu – The House of Representatives on Thursday passed the Financial Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill with a majority.

The bill was approved after a proposal presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel to endorse the Financial Procedures and Financial Responsibility (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 was accepted by a majority.

Although some lawmakers proposed amendments to the bill, they were rejected by the majority, with only two lawmakers supporting them. The bill will now be sent to the National Assembly for further discussion.
