NEPSE declines by 12 points, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited dominates the market



Kathmandu – On the last trading day of the week, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the NEPSE index declined by 12.38 points, closing at 2,669.76 points.

In today’s transaction, 13 sub-groups participated. Among them, 12 sub-indices decreased, while only one sub-index increased.

As per Wednesday’s transaction, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited led the market with a total transaction of 282 million 128 thousand 237 rupees.

In today’s transaction, Dolti Power Company Limited emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 6.90 percent. Meanwhile, Mithila Laghu Bitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting a negative circuit.

A total of 312 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 9 million 599 thousand 343, generating a transaction value of 4 billion 561 million 311 thousand 282 rupees.
