Kathmandu – On the fourth trading day of the week, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index fell by 14.88 points, closing at 2,682.15 points.
A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 10 sub-groups declining and the sub-indices of 3 sub-groups increasing.
As per today’s transaction, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 296 million, 732 thousand, and 682 rupees.
In today’s trading, Mithila LaghuBitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 9.39 percent. Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 9.20 percent.
A total of 311 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 9 million, 583 thousand, and 829 shares, generating a total transaction value of 5 billion, 143 million, 997 thousand, and 643 rupees.
