Kathmandu – On the third trading day of the week, the stock market witnessed a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index fell by 7.66 points, closing at 2,697.04 points.
A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 11 sub-groups declining and the sub-index of 1 sub-group increasing.
As per today’s transaction, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 321 million, 117 thousand, and 892 rupees.
In today’s trading, Mithila Laghubittiya Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Himalayan Power Partner Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 9.96 percent and 9.90 percent, respectively, hitting a positive circuit. Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 8.21 percent.
A total of 313 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 8 million, 237 thousand, and 902 shares, generating a total transaction value of 4 billion, 346 million, 632 thousand, and 263 rupees.
