The prosperity of a nation requires the development of industry and entrepreneurship: Minister Bhandari



Kathmandu – Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies Damodar Bhandari stated that resolving procedural complexities within the governing system is the government’s top priority.

Speaking at the Second International Women Leadership Summit 2025, organized by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries on Sunday, he emphasized that policy improvements are underway to address the prevailing challenges. He further added that the government is actively working to create jobs and promote investment in the country.

Minister Bhandari highlighted that addressing pressing national issues remains a key priority for the government. He underscored that the prosperity of a nation depends on the development of industry and entrepreneurship.

“The current government is focused on overcoming the prevailing despair by first eliminating the procedural complexities embedded within Nepal’s governing system. By doing so, we aim to create jobs, promote investment, and encourage both domestic and foreign investment,” he said.

Additionally, Minister Bhandari stated that the government is advancing programs to increase the use of domestic products in public offices across Nepal.
