NEPSE Declines by 20 Points, Total Transaction Drops to NPR 8 Billion



Kathmandu – On the second trading day of the week, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index dropped by 20.68 points, closing at 2,751.42 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of all except one decreasing, reflecting a market-wide downturn.

As per today’s transaction, Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 735 million, 90 thousand, and 929 rupees.

In today’s trading, NESDO Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 9.98 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 6.98 percent.

A total of 311 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 15 million, 94 thousand, and 915 shares, generating a total transaction value of 8 billion, 378 million, 55 thousand, and 57 rupees.
