Kathmandu – Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai has called on the people to participate in a peaceful protest on Falgun 25 in support of restoring the monarchy.
He claimed that his past movements had garnered mass public support for King Gyanendra.
Organizing a press conference at his residence in Bhaktapur, Prasai stated that now is the time for the King and his supporters.
He further said that if his campaign succeeded and he came to power, he would increase the minimum salary of police officers to one hundred thousand rupees.
Prasai also asserted that the campaign led by him has benefited businessmen and Nepali citizens.
Additionally, he claimed that the movement to restore the monarchy would be successful, as King Gyanendra himself had urged him to support the cause on Falgun 7.
