Kathmandu – Speaker Devraj Ghimire has stated that the country is advancing in industry, infrastructure development, financial stability, and the creation of an investment-friendly environment.
Addressing the second anniversary of the Economic Media Association Nepal (EMAN) in Kathmandu on Friday, Speaker Ghimire said that Nepal has moved beyond the transitional phase and is progressing toward industrial growth, infrastructure development, financial stability, and creating an investment-friendly environment.
He emphasized the need for strong collaboration between the government, private sector, financial institutions, and the communication sector in revising past economic policies and exploring new opportunities. He also stated that press freedom will not be restricted under any circumstances. Furthermore, he stressed that no laws should attempt to limit free and independent press practices, control information, or weaken transparency.
Speaker Ghimire added that stable policies, a transparent financial system, an investment-friendly environment, and the appropriate use of modern technology are essential for achieving sustainable economic prosperity.
