Kathmandu – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the country has no option but to embark on the path of self-reliance.
Inaugurating Nepal Pulp and Paper Industry at Gaushala Municipality-1, Ramnagar, Mahottari, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that industrial development and job creation would be key priorities.
“We have no other choice but to embark on the path of self-reliance,” he said.
He further noted that the government recognizes the crucial role of the private sector in achieving national prosperity. According to him, the establishment of the paper industry would help create employment opportunities and enhance skill development for local residents.
Prime Minister Oli also expressed confidence that the industry would encourage the use of domestically produced paper, helping reduce the trade deficit and contributing to self-reliance.
He added that the current government is committed to the country’s development.
