NEPSE Declines Marginally; Himalayan Reinsurance Limited Leads in Turnover



Kathmandu – On the last trading day of the week, the stock market experienced a marginal decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index dropped by 2.70 points, closing at 2,818.43 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 9 sub-groups decreasing, while the sub-indices of 4 sub-groups increased.

As per today’s transaction, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 1 billion, 128 million, 362 thousand, and 168 rupees.

In today’s trading, Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited and Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, 10% Nabil Debenture 2082 was the top loser, with its share price decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 310 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 19 million, 41 thousand, and 514 shares, generating a total transaction value of 10 billion, 101 million, 817 thousand, and 681 rupees.
