Kathmandu – On the fourth day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced marginal growth. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index increased by 1.86 points, closing at 2,685.73 points.
A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 9 sub-groups showing a decrease, while the sub-indices of 4 sub-groups increased.
As per today’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 396 million, 22 thousand, and 636 rupees.
In today’s trading, Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 9.99 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Super Madi Hydropower Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
A total of 307 companies participated in today’s transactions. The total number of shares traded was 15 million, 520 thousand, and 559 shares, generating a total transaction value of 8 billion, 717 million, 847 thousand, and 62 rupees.
