NEPSE Declines by 10.98 Points, Total Transaction Drops to 6 Billion



Kathmandu – On the second day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index decreased by 10.98 points, closing at 2,677.32 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 11 sub-groups showing a decrease, while the sub-indices of 2 sub-groups increased.

As per today’s transaction, Nepal Republic Media Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 244 million, 478 thousand, and 99 rupees.

In today’s trading, Nyadi Hydropower Limited and Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited and Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 322 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 14 million, 443 thousand, and 765 shares, generating a total transaction value of 6 billion, 960 million, 292 thousand, and 235 rupees.
