NEPSE Declines by 11 Points; Total Transaction Exceeds 9 Billion



Kathmandu – On the last day of this week’s trading, the stock market experienced a decline. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the index decreased by 11.64 points, closing at 2,699.81 points.

A total of 13 sub-groups participated in today’s transactions, with the sub-indices of 12 sub-groups showing a decrease, while the sub-index of only 1 sub-group increased.

As per today’s transaction, Sahas Urja Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 313 million, 564 thousand, and 264 rupees.

In today’s trading, Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited emerged as the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 10 percent, hitting the positive circuit. Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Corporate Development Bank Limited were the top losers, with their share prices decreasing by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.

A total of 315 companies participated in today’s transaction. The total number of traded shares was 18 million, 680 thousand, and 392 shares, generating a total transaction value of 9 billion, 247 million, 375 thousand, and 287 rupees.
