Kathmandu – On the first day of the week’s trading, the stock market declined. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the Share Scale Index decreased by 51.37 points, reaching 2,630.91 points.
In today’s NEPSE transaction, a total of 13 subgroups participated, and the sub-indices of all subgroups declined.
As per Monday’s transaction, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market, with a total transaction amounting to 264 million 590 thousand 330 rupees.
In today’s NEPSE transaction, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited saw the highest gain. The share price of the company increased by 10 points, hitting the positive circuit.
Meanwhile, Janaki Finance Company Limited suffered a loss, with its share price falling by 9.58 percent.
Today, 304 companies participated in the trading. A total of 12 million 745 thousand 777 shares were traded, with a total transaction amount of 5 billion 935 million 604 thousand 847 rupees.
