NEPSE Declines by 33 Points, Total Transaction Reaches 6 Billion



Kathmandu– On the last trading day of the week, the stock market has declined. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the share scale index has decreased by 33.42 points, reaching 2,682.29 points.

In today’s NEPSE transaction, a total of 13 subgroups participated. Of these, the sub-indices of 11 subgroups have decreased, while the sub-indices of only 2 subgroups have increased.

As per Thursday’s transactions, Janaki Finance Company Limited led the market with a total transaction value of 261 Million 214 Thousand 72 rupees.

Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited saw the highest gain, with its share price increasing by 8.55 points.

Meanwhile, Janaki Finance Company Limited faced a loss, as its share price has decreased by 7.41 percent.

A total of 304 companies participated in today’s trading, with 12 Million 371 Thousand 318 shares being traded. The total transaction amount for the day reached 6 Billion 144 Million 65 Thousand 744 rupees.
