High Morale of Investors is Essential to Make Capital Market Dynamic: Chairman Shrestha



Kathmandu– Chairman of the Nepal Securities Board, Santosh Narayan Shrestha, emphasized that maintaining high morale among investors is essential for making the capital market dynamic.

Speaking at a welcome and congratulatory program organized by the Economic Media Society Nepal (EMSON) on Wednesday, Chairman Shrestha stated that the Board has prioritized the security of its investors.

He further explained that high morale among investors can drive the capital market forward and contribute to its development. He added that investors feel safe only when their investments are secure, so it is the Board’s responsibility to safeguard those investments.

Chairman Shrestha also stressed the importance of prioritizing everyone involved in the capital market, including the Board.

To expand the scope of the capital market, which is currently limited, he called for an increase in the role of stockbrokers. Highlighting the importance of market instruments, he claimed that the Board is ready to work on this matter.

Sagar Dhakal, Chairman of the Stock Broker Association of Nepal, stated that changing the state’s perspective on the capital market is essential. He further added that for the development of the capital market, it is crucial to implement the suggestions provided by broker entrepreneurs. With the appointment of a new Chairman to the Board, he is hopeful that the new Chairman will work in favor of the investors.
