Kathmandu. On the second trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) experienced a decline. According to NEPSE, the overall share index decreased by 12.87 points, settling at 2,676.12 points.
In today’s NEPSE session, 13 sub-groups participated. Among them, the sub-indices of 5 sub-groups increased, while those of 8 sub-groups declined.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited led the market in Monday’s transaction, recording a total transaction of NPR 352.72 million.
Emerging Nepal Limited was the top gainer, with its share price increasing by 8.76 percent. On the other hand, Swabhimaan Microfinance Limited faced the biggest loss, with its share price dropping by 10 percent, hitting the negative circuit.
In total, 317 companies participated in today’s trading. A total of 11.45 million shares were traded, with a total transaction amount of NPR 5.60 billion.
